Producer
Founded in 2014 by winemakers Giorgi Tsirghvava and Mamuka Tsiklauri, DoReMi Wines honors Georgia’s rich winemaking heritage. With a strong focus on organic practices, grapes are carefully selected from various regions including Kakheti, Kartli and Imereti. Tradition is at the heart of DoReMi, with all wines made using the age-old method of kvevri winemaking. Housed in the cellar, these large clay vats are the heart of the production process. No additives, minimal sulfites and no filtration; just pure wine.
Each region of Georgia has its own unique methods for making kvevri wine. For example, in Kakheti, grapes are often fermented with the skins and sometimes even with the stems. In Kartli, on the other hand, only a part of the grape skins is usually used. DoReMi is a proud member of the Natural Wine Association and offers an enchanting collection of Ocho wines. Inspired by Georgian folklore, these wines embody the rugged beauty of nature and bear symbols of endangered species on their labels. Enjoy the celebrated kvevri fermentation method and be drawn into the deep mysteries of life as you explore these unique wines.
