All three reserva wines are a blend of two grape varieties in combination with (light) barrel aging. According to Alorna, this is the ultimate combination. The grape varieties reinforce each other and provide an amazing taste experience. The wood aging provides character and depth. These wines can also be used gastronomically.
Alvarinho & Viognier
This wine has nicely balanced the tropical notes of the Alvarinho grape with the delicious notes of apricot, flowers and the Williams pear of the Viognier variety. The finish is long and pleasant. Partly aged for six months in oak barrels, it pairs well with roasted fish, savory game pie, Thai dishes and softer cheeses.
