Unlike Alorna's other series, these wines are made from a single grape variety grown on specific plots. Within this project Quinta da Alorna strives to create unique, authentic and distinctive wines.

Castelao

This wine tastes of wild berries and mint. Is creamy and has an intense and deep aftertaste. The Castelão is partially matured (8 months) in French oak barrels. Goes well with grilled octopus, venison dishes and mature cheeses. Is at its best between 15 and 17ºC.
