Quinta Do Piloto Reserva Palmela DOC is a beautiful Portuguese red wine from the Setúbal region. The wine is made from the Castelão grape variety with an alcohol content of 13.5%. The Portuguese Castelão grape is a versatile blue grape that can adapt well to different climatic conditions. In good conditions this wine can mature for many years (20 years). A beautiful wine for the real wine lover.

Tasting notes

Full-bodied wine with silky and seductive tannins with an intense and dark pomegranate color. Perfectly balanced, with a nice amplitude in the mouth associated with a nice natural acidity. It's long and seductive. Very good intensity. An enormous complexity characterized by notes of black plum, wild berries, spices such as black pepper and green pepper. Deep in its mineral notes. This beauty goes perfectly with all your meat dishes. From beef to game, the structure supports all these dishes. Serving temperature 16-18 degrees Celsius.

Quinta do Piloto is located in the Palmela region and belongs to the Cardoso family. The Cardoso family is one of the oldest families in Palmela, with a connection to wine since the beginning of the last century. Humberto Cardoso was the founder of this house, he is currently the 4th generation to insure and manage the company's destinations.
