Additional Information: Made from Bavarian summer barley and matured on American white oak. Due to the long fermentation many fruity tones in combination with creamy malt tones. in the aftertaste very light some smoky tones from the roasted barrels.

The distillery is located on the shores of the “Schliersee” in the south of Bavaria, Germany. They work with locally grown grains and mineral-rich water from an alpine spring right next to the distillery. Long fermentation time and slow distillation provide the typical flavors in the Syrs whiskies. For their barrels they have a partnership with World Cooperage who supplies them with the best quality barrels of American white oak. After a maturation of 3-6 years, several other barrels are used to obtain more flavors in the whisky.
