St. Andrea Napbor Cuvee is a ripe, dry white biodynamic wine. The origin of the wine is in the Hungarian town of Eger. The town of Eger is mainly known for its red bull blood, in our opinion this wine also deserves more attention.
This wine is matured in wooden barrels, after a collection of various leading grapes from the Hungarian vineyards, this beautiful wine was created. The following grapes were used: Olaszrizling, Hárslevelű, Leányka, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay.
The Taste Character
St. Andrea Napbor Cuvee has a beautiful straw yellow color. The wine contains beautiful aromas of pineapple, peach, pear, mango in combination with biscuit. You will also taste pineapple, pear and peach in the taste, which is united with a subtle taste of roasted hazelnut. The wine has a medium long aftertaste. You can of course also combine the wine with a delicious dish such as grilled chicken, lobster or fried sole.
About the winery
In the Hungarian wine region Eger at the foot of the Bükk Mountains you will find the St. Andrea winery. Eger is very unique for growing red and white grapes and has special possibilities. The volcanic soil is rich in rhyolite tuff, clay, slate, zeolite, marl and sandstone. There is a beautifully cool climate here. The character of St. Andrea's wines reflects the terroir, namely in their rich aromas, acidity, soft tannins and elegance.
