TALISKER 10 YEAR OLD
The 10 Year Old is my personal favorite: he's perfect to take a walk to enjoy at the end of the day.
I'm going for that peaty and smoky, but not too much of that peppery. He is soft with a soothing glow to the end. I would not have imagined a better nightcap as the evening it uses, and the only company that I need the sound of the sea crashing on the rocks.

Powerful peat smoke with the salinity of sea water, the moisture of fresh oysters and a citrus sweetness.

Taste
A full sweetness of dried fruit with smoke and strong aromas of malted barley, warm and intense. Peppery in the mouth.
Aftertaste
Big, long, warming and peppery on the finish with an attractive sweetness.

Nose: Salty peat stays in the background while the liquor with spicy notes takes over. This has a seafood feel, like stuffy oysters. And maybe the olives?
Taste: A mix of sweet and spicy notes. Peppers with dry syrup and ginger. Something ruined the taste for me and I guess I have to blame olives until a better explanation comes along.
Finish: Peppers explode in your throat. Warming barley with lots of sweet spots as well. If you keep on chewing, you'll find lots of different flavors in the aftertaste.
