Tarapacá has different ways of winemaking. This series emphasizes the expressive character of the grape and its fresh fruit notes.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks (during 10 days) at a temperature between 25ºC and 28ºC in order to preserve the fruitiness and extract as much color, aroma and taste from the skins as possible. Part of the wine is aged in wooden barrels to get a good structure.
Drink with: Red meat, game, Dutch cheeses or just enjoy it on its own.
Tasting note: Dark red wine with an aroma of berries and cherries. In the taste a lot of juicy fruit, some spicy, a little eucalyptus and a powerful but smooth aftertaste.
Shelf life: Ready to drink now and can be stored for about 5 years after harvest.
