Tbilvino Rkatsiteli Qvevris is made from the Rkatsiteli grape. This beautiful orange wine is dry, but soft, balanced and creamy. This is a wine with special properties, it contains rich tannins, deep and full taste. Not only is the grape special and what it is made with, another special fact is that the wine is made according to the Georgian traditional method - a complete maceration and a gradual cold fermentation of about 5 months in the underground Qvevris (amphora barrels / earthenware jars). . It is therefore not without reason that this wine has already received prizes six times in a row at international wine competitions.

Taste character

Tbilvino Rkatsiteli Qvevris turns straw yellow in the glass and contains a rich taste of banana, nuts, pine tree and dried flowers. This orange wine has an alcohol percentage of 12.5% and is silky soft and creamy with notes of citrus, apricot and herbs. This delicious wine pairs perfectly with meat dishes, such as lamb stew and barbecue.

About the winery

The Tbilvino winery has been producing wines for a long time and is one of the better known wineries from Georgia. After the fall of the Soviet Union, there was plenty of experimenting with new flavors and varieties. This was not without results, delicious wines are still produced today. The Tbilvino winery now also collaborates with winemakers from France and Italy.
