The Teeling family has been making Irish whiskey since 1782, with the opening of the Teeling Whiskey Distillery in Dublin's Liberties area, the Teeling family has achieved what they have long intended: the tradition of distilling in Ireland's capital Reviving. To celebrate this rise and the next chapter in the golden age of Irish whisky, Teeling whiskey is proud to introduce the first release of the Rising Reserve range.

Following on from the award-winning Revival and Renaissance series of Irish Whiskeys, this first release features hand-selected casks chosen from Teeling's reserves of the finest and oldest single malts. Rising Reserve No.1 is a 21 year old Irish single malt initially aged in ex-bourbon casks and then undergoing a second maturation period in high quality Carcavelos casks.

Bottled at 46% ABV non-chill filtration, this release is limited to just 6000 bottles.

Fragrance: Green apples, honeyed citrus and cotton candy.

Taste: Stewed fruit with caramel, wood tannins and cinnamon spice.

Finish: Long finish with wood notes and rich roasted cocoa.
