The Trinity JAZZ Areni Chardonnay is a beautiful experiment from the Trinity Canyon Vineyards winery and not a continuous production line. The winery wanted to express the true potential of the terroir with this wine. Armenian terroir is so special and has a continental climate with about 250 days of sunshine per year and high altitude vineyards (1300 m above sea level), volcanic soil with a high content of sand and gravel. These conditions together form a beautiful environment for the cultivation of special grapes with a high sugar content, which makes it possible to create quality wines.

Trinity JAZZ was created from Areni (blanc de noir) and Chardonnay grape varieties. The winery is making white wine from the iconic red Areni Noir variety for the first time. The experiment was certainly successful, because the wine shows interesting properties. The wine is beautiful golden yellow in the glass with a soft bouquet of wild red berries. Wonderfully balanced on the palate with pronounced acidity from Areni noir, paired with the fruity notes of green apples and ripe yellow fruit from Chardonnay. Delicious wine to serve as an aperitif or to combine with delicate fish and shellfish.
