Flavor Description:

Color: Clear gold

Nose: First delivers a candy-like sweetness reminiscent of fondant icing, strawberry laces and meringue candies. Rustic oatcakes, custard cream biscuits and oak shavings add complex depth to the aroma. There is an abundance of lemon drizzle cake lemon cake.

Taste: The sweet but sour citrus notes on the nose explode on the palate with lemon curd and stewed crab apples. A richness can be found in the form of a malty and peppery, doughy taste. An elegant scorched herbal note of lavender, rosemary and thyme adds a complex smoke dimension.

Finish: The zing of white pepper and herbaceous smoke lingers for many pleasant seconds.
