Zorah Karasi Magnum 150CL is an excellent gift idea for wine lovers who want to enjoy the amphora wine for an extra long time.

Zorah's very first wine, “Karası” is made from the indigenous Areni Noir grape, from ungrafted vines, which grows at 1,400 meters above sea level.
Armenian Areni Noir is unique in itself, as this grape variety is considered one of the oldest grape varieties in the world. Partly due to many similarities, this grape is called the ancestor of Pinot Noir by many vinologists.

Zorah Karasi is fermented naturally in the raw concrete vats and for a longer period of time in the traditional amphorae. Hence the name “Karası” which literally translated means 'amphoras'. The wine matures for a year in the Karasen, then for 6 months in the bottles before leaving the winery.

In the glass it is light brilliant purple in color, while in the nose there are very surprising smoky mulberries and cassis. Wonderfully bright cassis and Beaujolais-like grape in the mouth. Excellent acidity makes the wine juicy and quite easy to drink. The ripe tannins give substance to the bright fruit.
