ZULAL Voskehat has complex, yet fruity aromas that go perfectly with a dessert. The word Voskehat means 'A golden berry' in Armenian. Voskehat is a typical indigenous Armenian grape variety. Vayots Dzor is the wine region where the grape variety is grown.

Taste character

The ZULAL Voskehat is recognizable by its aromas of tropical fruit in combination of ripe fruit and flowers. This delicious white wine turns golden yellow in the glass and has a pleasantly long aftertaste with a small hint of minerals. You can combine this wine wonderfully with a cheese board, but it can also be served as a dessert wine.

Wine-Food Combination

This wine is a perfect accompaniment to the spicy chicken crust accompanied with grilled eggplant. The characteristics of ZULAL Voskehat are spicy, ripe and spicy. The wine is spicy enough for a simple arugula salad with a honey mustard dressing, but also ripe and spicy enough for a roasted white fish.

About the creator

The goal of the Zulal winery is of course to produce quality wine made from indigenous Armenian grape varieties. The winery is located in the famous Vayots Dzor wine region. Zulal's vineyards are located relatively high (up to 1,200 meters above sea level) and have diverse soil structures, which gives all their wines their characteristic taste.
